Q. What inspired you to start This.Is.Sacred?
A. What inspired me was the dream of living by the means of making my inner child happy, and at the same time being able to give back to the community that has lifted me up throughout my life. SACRED was birthed through combining my passion for fashion and my love for our community.
Q. What is your mission/why?
A. Our mission is to create lifestyle and fashion collections that inspire the energies of fearlessness, connectedness, and one's highest consciousness. We also strive to donate proceeds to community organizations and members, as well as spread awareness and tell their stories.
This mission is inspired and fueled by my personal story and others' stories of growing up in poverty and experiencing different trauma. It was through finding safe spaces in community that I was encouraged to tap into my power, rediscover my creative expressions, and receive nourishment to continue on in my healing journey. Being able to use my creativity to help give back to the community that has lifted me up is truly a joy.
Q. Tell us more about what you do.
A. We started off with some statement jewelry but we can't wait to offer more and different kinds of jewelry, clothing, and lifestyle accessories. In the future we also aim to host community events that will bring small businesses, artists, and community organizations together to showcase their passions and missions!

Q. What does wellness mean to you?
A. For me, maintaining wellness in my life is to practice balancing giving myself rest and taking on challenges, as well as to focus my energy on things that will cultivate joy.
