Q. What inspired you to start Mantrasana?

A. As a yoga practitioner, I have always been interested in exploring different styles of yoga and discovering the unique benefits each practice offers. When I first encountered Aerial Yoga during my travels in Hong Kong, I was immediately struck by how different the practice felt compared to traditional yoga. The first touch of the hammock in my hands got me excited and told me "Guam needs something like this!", this became a fuel of passion to bring it to Guam.

Q. What is your mission/why?

A. Mantrasana Fitness Studio is to provide a safe and welcoming space for individuals to explore and deepen their fitness or yoga practice, specifically through Aerial Yoga or Aerial Arts. Our aim is to help individuals improve their physical and mental health through a beginner-friendly approach and to discover a strength they never knew they had.

Q. Tell us more about what you do.

A. At Mantrasana Fitness Studio, individuals of all ages and levels can take advantage of Aerial Yoga and Aerial Arts classes. Aerial Yoga is a beginner-friendly option that emphasizes deep stretching and increased flexibility. Additionally, we now offer Aerial Kids classes with certified instructors, which provide several benefits for children's physical and mental health, including improved self-confidence, creativity, and lasting impacts on their overall well-being and future endeavors.

Q. What is your wellness motto?

A. The wellness motto at Mantrasana Fitness Studio, which is "Find balance in the air and on the ground," represents the idea of finding physical and mental balance through the practice of Aerial Yoga - the art of movement in meditation. Wellness is about prioritizing and maintaining a healthy lifestyle through physical activity, mindfulness, and self-care practices.
